Search Engines

Dogpile.com -- This is the search engine I use the most.   It uses 10 different search engines to perform your search.  It's best used if you have a pretty specific inquiry.

Excite.com -- Excite ranks your choices by a percentage.  100% means they are positive that they know what you want.  Of course, they still are wrong just as much as any other engine.

Hotbot.com -- I don't know a whole bunch about this engine, but if you're tired of all the other ones, give this one a try.

Infoseek.com -- Infoseek is another search engine that searches out whatever you want it to.

Askjeeves.com -- this one is different.  You ask it a question on whatever topic you might have and then it narrows down your search by topic until you get it exact.  You should give it try.

Lycos.com -- Lycos definitely has the best commercials of all the search engines.  If you want Claudia Schiffer though, I'm afraid you'll have to send more than a dog out over the net.

Yahoo.com -- this is probably the most popular search engine, and it is good.  The thing I like most about it is the categories that it divides your inquiry into.

go2net.com -- this is where the search engine metacrawler is.  It, like dogpile, uses more than one search engine to find your inquiry.
